We welcome our students back from our Easter Holiday Break.  I hope we all had a great time with friends and family.  As we resume our daily routines, we need to keep in mind that we are only 14 days away from the next round of STAAR Assessments.  We ask that students be extra focused and ready to participate in instruction and reviews during the next two weeks.  It is very important that we be positive and be self motivated as look forward to accomplish our campus goals of not only passing the STAAR but reaching the Level III accolades.  Lets make it an awesome week.

We expect another great week at Falcon Nation.  I hope we all had a restful weekend  and are ready to continue to strive for excellence. We will continue with District Benchmarks this week.  On Monday we will be taking 8th Grade Science and 7th Grade Math while on Tuesday we will be taking our 8th Grade Social Studies  benchmarks.  We will continue with common assessments as well throughout the week.  I am very proud of our students on an excellent job done during last weeks STAAR assessments and benchmarks.  I truly believe we will continue to meet our campus goals in regards to reaching level III recognition in the state.  Lets make a great week and thank you.  

I hope we all had a great Spring Break 2017 and spent quality time with our family and friends. As we look forward to the upcoming weeks, we have important events in the horizon.  Our STAAR tests begin on Tuesday March 28-Wed Mar 29 for our 7th and 8th graders.  Please be focused this week in all our classes to benefit from all the excellent lessons.  Ask as many question as possible in case of any misunderstandings or concerns but also trust in yourself.  You have been working toward being successful in your course work and exams and it will happen.  Have a great week.

Falcon Nation, we hope everyone had a great weekend.  I know many of our students participated in the 2017 Starr County Youth Fair and represented our district very well.  As look forward to the beginning of a new month, I remind everyone that we are 4 weeks away from our 8th grade Reading/Math STAAR exam and our 7th grade writing STAAR exam.  We encourage all of our students to continue to take advantage of the lunch tutorials and Saturday enrichment days available in order to refine our objectives and testing skills.  Lets make it a great week at Ac2E M.S.

Falcon Nation,  this week will be the beginning of the 5th Six Weeks.  This means that the STAAR assessments are getting closer but we have been preparing for the challenge since day once of this school year.  We ask that all our students continue to have a positive outlook at what is to come and have faith in yourselves and your teachers to guide you each day with rigorous instruction.  Have a great week.  Just as a reminder, we are planning our Starr County Youth Fair Trip this Friday which means we need out permission slips turned in to your homeroom teacher as soon as possible.

This week will start with District Benchmarks on Tuesday( 8th Math/7th Writing) and
Wednesday (8th Reading). Common assessments will be ongoing during the week in the non-benchmark classrooms.  I ask that all our students take the benchmark serious as it is an indicator of where we stand before the real STAAR assessments come around.  Students make sure we have a good nights rest and eat breakfast to maintain a high order of focus and energy.  Have a great week at Ac2E Middle School.
