Falcon Nation, we hope everyone had a great weekend.  I know many of our students participated in the 2017 Starr County Youth Fair and represented our district very well.  As look forward to the beginning of a new month, I remind everyone that we are 4 weeks away from our 8th grade Reading/Math STAAR exam and our 7th grade writing STAAR exam.  We encourage all of our students to continue to take advantage of the lunch tutorials and Saturday enrichment days available in order to refine our objectives and testing skills.  Lets make it a great week at Ac2E M.S.

Falcon Nation,  this week will be the beginning of the 5th Six Weeks.  This means that the STAAR assessments are getting closer but we have been preparing for the challenge since day once of this school year.  We ask that all our students continue to have a positive outlook at what is to come and have faith in yourselves and your teachers to guide you each day with rigorous instruction.  Have a great week.  Just as a reminder, we are planning our Starr County Youth Fair Trip this Friday which means we need out permission slips turned in to your homeroom teacher as soon as possible.

This week will start with District Benchmarks on Tuesday( 8th Math/7th Writing) and
Wednesday (8th Reading). Common assessments will be ongoing during the week in the non-benchmark classrooms.  I ask that all our students take the benchmark serious as it is an indicator of where we stand before the real STAAR assessments come around.  Students make sure we have a good nights rest and eat breakfast to maintain a high order of focus and energy.  Have a great week at Ac2E Middle School.

Ac2E M. S. is continuing to motivate and create a positive learning environment for the benefit of our students.  Our teachers are willing to challenge our students to believe in themselves during each lesson and activity.  This will be a great week at Falcon Nation.
